Alana’s talks are not just talks - they provide a powerful experience for her audience!
Here you will find some of Alana’s most popular speaking topics. Alana is passionate about speaking on pain to purpose, overcoming obstacles by shifting your mindset and experiencing a greater amount of rest by experiencing more of God’s spirit here on earth. She is more than happy to tailor her talk to your specific event, as She loves collaborating with Ministries and other teachers to share the word of God in a practical way.
Almost all of us have gone through some type of deep pain in our life. Some allow the pain to strengthen them, and others can’t help but be brought down by it all. Alana’s encouragement through this talk is to open up for God to use past pain for a purpose in your life. She shares her own pain that God used for His greater purpose, and how He can do that for ALL of us when we open up to Him fully. She bases her talk on the scripture “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Alana has worked with so many women who have struggled to love themselves. She is passionate about helping women see their true identity in Christ so they can live with a deep understanding of their identity and worth in Him. Through her talk, she shares her own journey of overcoming debilitating self-esteem issues and experiencing the freedom God had for her by loving herself exactly the He created her to be. She bases her talk on the scripture “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:14)
Storms come into our lives and it can be difficult to take our eyes off the wind and waves and focus on Jesus. Alana dives into this topic and ahres how women can focus on Jesus in practical ways through the storm by abiding in the Holy Spirit and coming into full agreement with Him. She also explains what the misconstrued scripture “God won't give you more than you can handle” really means.
She bases her talk on the scripture “Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:22-31)
Alana’s most popular guidebook is based on this topic. She has shared the freedom that comes with forgiveness to thousands and she loves to inspire people to forgive through Christ so they can experience the same peace.
She bases her talk on the scripture "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, 'Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?' Jesus answered, 'I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.' " (Matthew 18:21-22) and “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark 11:25)
What do we do when people hurt us? Do we choose to show them love or do we shut them out? There’s a very good answer to this question and it involves prayer. There are ways we can love people and have healthy boundaries - and it all comes from the Holy Spirit. In this message, Alana shares how we can show agape love to people when they are toxic or difficult. What results is peace that surpasses all understanding.
She bases her talk on the scripture “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44)
All of us desire a sense of control over our lives. It can be difficult to let go and let God. Even though we know this is the best way to live, we still want to hold on to that last bit of control so that we feel safe. But God is our safety net! Alana’s message on this powerful topic includes looking to Christ as the one who keeps us safe, and growing in greater faith and belief in God’s character, promises, protection and provision.
She bases her talk on the scriptures “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10a) and “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Alana will lead her audience on a treasure hunt to discover their true identity in Christ. She will ask the difficult questions that create a deeper understanding of how God sees them, and how they can see themselves the same way. Her messages inspire women to stand on the truth of who God says they are so they can experience his freedom. Her passion is to show women that their greatest mess can become their most powerful message. No matter where a woman is on her journey with the Lord, Alana will help her grow in a deeper relationship with him and experience a greater degree of freedom in her life through His powerful truths.
